TTC Month Three

This is a post about our journey trying to conceive, if you don’t wanna hear/see TMI info, stop reading now.

So this month we decided we’d really go for it TTC wise. I felt pretty confident that I could read my temps and where things were heading on the chart. Still not SUPER confident about CM, but felt like I knew what the EWCM looked like now that I’ve been paying attention verses being not so sure last month.

You can view my chart as I update it by clicking here. I plan to keep taking it until AF or I get a BFP/BFN. But here’s what it looks like so far this cycle. I think we timed baby making pretty well… Guess we’ll see if it worked in about a week! I plan to POAS next Thurs/Fri before we go down to the beach for the weekend. If its positive, we might have to spill the beans because my family will know first time I turn down a bud light lime or margarita or fresh strawberry daquari!!!

Spring Planting Update

A few weeks ago I posted about the flowers around my mailbox. I promised to keep yall updated to see how they were doing. Well here’s the photo I took yesterday morning as I was leaving for work (photo taken with cell phone out the window of my CRV so please excuse the quality).

Clearly the day lillies are doing great! The snapdragons are kinda being lost in the shuffle. I’ll take a photo tonight of the flowers in the pots on ouor front porch. I think they aren’t doing as well after all the rain we got Sunday/Monday/Tuesday.

Another Giveaway Blog Post

TTC Two Months in

This is a TTC (as in Trying To Conceive) post. If you don’t wanna hear the TMI, stop reading now.

So I took off the BC patch in March. I traveled for work & visited family. We didn’t really pay attention to timing of things. When looking back on the calendar, I realized I got my period on day 28. So I was “normal”, but not pregnant. Not that we were really ready or expecting that in the first month.

Then we were in April. I started reading TCoYF & joined Fertility Friend. I started taking my temps every morning at 7am and charting them and my daily CM. Jason was out of town visiting family then sick. I was in a wedding & we had family in town. Jason also started his new job & continued to work his second night time job. In other words we were busy so although I was trying to figure out which were good baby making days, we didn’t really TRY. Looking at my chart, we think I O’d on day 13 and I ended my second off BC cycle on day 23. After cycle two, we’re a little wiser about my cycle & more ready to give baby making a real go.
