Label Love {giveaway}

As you know, I’ve been traveling a lot recently. You’ve picked up too that I can be a bit messy since I must unpack my bags as soon as I arrive. This means at the end of a weekend, or as was the case for my work trips, a week, I have stuff everywhere! What’s helped me figure out what’s mine & where it ended up recently are Lovable Labels.

Back in September, I was contacted by Lovable Labels & received one of their back-to-school packs. While some things, like the “this shoe belongs to” stickers, I didn’t think would apply to me, I’ve found more & more uses for the labels. As I kicked shoes off all over my parents house & under the table at the wedding last weekend, I actually wished I’d stuck a label on those too.

They survive the dishwasher & have been a great way to make sure tailgating platters return to me as well as the water bottles & cups I take with me to work. I’ve used them to label all my cords~ perfect for travel so they don’t get mixed up with my parents’ cell chargers.

While I skipped one of their 45 options of icons & went with just my name on their polka dot design, you could choose a star, fish, cat, skull & cross bones or a football. These would be great though to label your family’s or your children’s toys, clothes, luggage & shoes.

Scotch-Brite Disinfecting Wipes {giveaway}

You’ve probably gathered that I’m not much of a cleaner. I know there are those who relax & unwind by cleaning. That’s not me. {I’m friends with some of those girls & still do.not.get.it.}. After being gone for two weeks, I came home to a mess. I ignored it Sunday & Monday, but I could no longer avoid the filth tonight.

So cleaning is just something that has to be done in my household, but I love when I find things that simplify the dreaded task. When it comes to cleaning products I also struggle with is balancing price & making sure it’s safe for Moekitty & the environment.

I love disinfecting wipes. They make cleaning kitchen & bathroom counter tops so much easier. I’d kinda guessed the ones I’d been using weren’t so environmentally or pet-friendly. So I’d switched to greener bottled cleaners but missed the ease of the wipes.

Welcome to my life Scotch-Brite’s new Botanical Disinfecting Wipes. They’re priced so they’re easy on the wallet {less than $2.50 for 35 at Walmart}. I love that they’re Moekitty safe & I know they’re kid-friendly as well. That they smell all fresh & clean {mine are lemongrass scented} & don’t require after-use rinsing, makes them all the better. Seriously y’all, my kitchen & bathrooms thanked me for the attention. I thought about posting before & after shots but the befores were too embarrassing!

Have you YoCrunch’d? {giveaway}

My typical work day lunch includes sandwich, chips or crackers & some sweet. Sometimes the sweet is dried mangoes, cookies if I’d made some over the weekend, or yogurt if we have it &/or I’m feeling healthy. Yogurt also works well because I don’t feel guilty about snacking on it at that 10:30/11am time that I find I’m hungry before my 1230p lunch time.

So when Miranda & I stumbled upon the YoCrunch booth at BlogHer, I was interested to try something new. I feel like I’d maybe heard of YoCrunch or seen it at my local store. But like DWB, until BlogHer, I’d never tried it.

Thanks to a couple YoCrunch coupons, I brought home the Strawberry parfaits for free then again a week later for a discount. It was one of the only things I wanted post-dilation doctor appointment. At less than 200 calories, it’s a great afternoon weekend snack or breakfast or dessert.

I was thrilled a couple of weeks ago when I heard from a representative from YoCrunch & even more excited when he offered for me to share free yogurt with my readers!
